Privacy policy

This is a draft. It describes how this version of rooGBotVC works. It will be checked and finished before launch.

Who we are

rooGBotVC is a product by rooGBot AI.

What we collect

• The web address you scan and the results of the scan.
• Masked keys. If we find a secret key, we save only a short, masked part of it. We never save the whole key.
• Your IP address, only as a scrambled (hashed) code kept for about 10 minutes, to stop abuse (rate limits).
• Your email, only when you buy. We use the email you give Stripe at checkout to send you one email: your purchase confirmation, your report link and, for a 10-report pack, your pack code. We send it through our email provider, Resend. We don't use that email for anything else, and we don't send you marketing because you bought. We don't keep a copy of it ourselves; Stripe and Resend keep their own records of the payment and the email.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.

What we don't do

• We don't use tracking cookies or ads.
• We don't sell your data.
• We don't log in to your app or read your database.

How long we keep it

• Scan results are deleted automatically 30 days after the scan.
• Your IP address (hashed) is kept for about 10 minutes.
• Your checkout email: we don't keep it. We only note that the purchase email was sent. Stripe and Resend keep their own records.

Your rights

You can ask us to see or delete your data. Contact details will be added before launch.
